Terrytown Civic Association
The Terrytown Civic Association meets at 7:00 pm on the first Wednesday of every month at the Terrytown Golden Age Center at 604 Heritage Avenue (across from the Terrytown Playground). Meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity for residents to express concerns directly to the public officials in attendance. The Civic Association also publishes a neighborhood newsletter, The Trumpet, at the beginning of each month. Terrytown Garden Club

Terrytown Golden Agers
Seniors who are a resident of Jefferson Parish are welcomed to come check out the Club. Meetings are held on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. in the Terrytown Golden Age Center at 604 Heritage Avenue (across from the Terrytown Playground). Terrytown Volunteer Fire Department
The fire department is always looking for volunteer firefighters. But if you choose for any reason not to fight fires, you can serve in other areas and activities. You will have the opportunity to learn important skills that will benefit you, your family, friends, and your neighbors for a lifetime…not to mention the many new friends you make along the way. Give the T5VFD a call at 504-349-5551, come in and fill out an application, or stop in on a Tuesday or Thursday at Central Station, 341 Heritage Ave. They will be happy to answer any questions you might have. The Westbank Optimist Club is a non-profit group of like-minded, community involved individuals who have been dedicated to serving the youth of Jefferson Parish.
