Residents who see homeless individuals living on public or private property in Jefferson Parish are asked to report it to the Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA) by calling
504-584-8578.

Through its Homeless Peer Outreach Support Program, JPHSA will:

• Provide connection to needed services with JPHSA and/or other Jefferson Parish providers, including primary and mental health care, substance abuse treatment and assistance with meeting basic needs

•  Identify available and appropriate housing programs and assist individuals with meeting eligibility requirements

• Receive referrals identified through community stakeholders and coordinated outreach efforts from the JPHSA Peer Support Specialists and build relationships and trust within the community

• Provide case management services
